Different thermoplasts are most frequently used in today’s world. Their advantage, from an ecological point of view, is the possibility of recycling.

Duroplasts on the other hand cannot be recycled by heating; they only decompose with combustion, which is their main disadvantage. But still, they remain in many areas irreplaceable for their great heat distortion resistance and hardness.
